MetLife FAIL

Unfortunately I had a really bad experience with MetLife Financial - specifically my interactions with Elyssa Baltazar and John Ritezel in the Financial Planning Division an Office of MetLife in downtown Bellevue. I paid MetLife a hefty sum for financial advisor services from a financial advisor that subsequently left the firm. MetLife simply ‘assigned’ (without consultation) a less qualified advisor who did not reply to my emails. According to Chad Stefan (a customer relations consultant at MetLife) this is the standard process used in the company. In good faith I worked through your complaints process – replying promptly to each request and have failed to resolve the issue.

Lesson learned – when picking a financial planner make sure you read up on the firm he or she works for – not just the financial planner themselves.
