Friends
Mike Shea - Mike and I were partners
for the Operating Systems course at the University of Waterloo. I figure if we can stay
friends through that - we can stay friends through anything.
Warittha R. - A future Flegg, Nu is a graduate student at the University of Washington.
Age Thurston - Age is a great
guy. We share a passion for computers and motorcycles.
Programming References
MSDN - Okay - I am sure that I am
going to get shot by one of my linux loving friends for this one, but for those of you
who develop on NT, this is an invaluable reference.
STL Reference - This STL reference is
the best that I have found on the internet. It is a great place to go when you can't
remember those pesky list operators!
Code Guru - This is the first site I
go to when I have a question about MFC. It is a great website with lots of source code.
Google - Not exactly a programming
reference, but I use it all the time when coding to look-up RFCs or search for obscure
information.
Employeers
Microsoft - I currently work as a software developer on the OS Deployment team at Microsoft. We recently shipped the SMS 2003 Operating System Deployment Feature Pack and are currently working on the next generation of OS Deployment tools in SMSv4
Quack.com - I worked for Quack
developing a new server to act as an information gateway to the outside world for the
AOLByPhone system. There are a lot of great developers at the company, and I enjoyed
the job very much.
Alcatel TAS - I worked for Alcatel
for three terms developing their train control systems. I have them to thank for my
documentation and coding habits.
Co-op faces a crunch -
This is an article about the University of Waterloo Co-op program. It just happens that I am
mentioned in the article because of the work I did at Alcatel.
Other
University of Waterloo - Well, this
is the place that I have called home for the last couple of years. The University of Waterloo
is considered the best university in Canada for studying mathmatics and computer science.
Slashdot - Okay, I put MSDN on my links
page, so I better put Slashdot here as well. It is the best place I have found for geek news.
Edge 102 - Toronto's new rock and alternative
station.
