1 Finely chopped green onion (or slice cooking onion or 1/4 tsp dry minced) 2 tbls. Margarine
1 tsp chicken soup mix 1 1/2 tbls Flour
2 Cups Water 1 Cup Milk
1 Cup cooked vegetables  
  1. Cook onion in margarine on medium to high heat stirring constantly until foams.
  2. Add flour and continue to stir until blended then slowly add 1 Cup of water.
  3. Add chicken soup mix, vegies and second cup of water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add milk, heat and serve.
Serving Options:
  • Great way to use up leftover vegetables, chicken or pork (not beef).
  • Broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus are especially good because have strong flavor but can use basic cream soup recipe for mix and match experiments.
