1 *Meatloaf Recipe ingredients excluding green pepper 4 Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
1 Medium onion thinly sliced 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
Daub Butter or margarine Salt & Pepper
  1. Make meatloaf mixture and spread/pat evenly over bottom of cake pan or shallow baking dish.
  2. Layer sliced potatoes and onions over top of meat mixture sprinkling salt & pepper between layers (Note that canned soup has a fairly high salt content so that salt should be used sparingly.)
  3. Spread contents of undiluted can of mushroom soup evenly over top.
  4. Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.
  5. Remove foil and continue to bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes until potatoes aare tender and casserole is bubbling.
Serving Options:
  • Tastes great with peas
