1 Medium Onion (Chopped) 2 Pieces white toast
4 cups Water 4 Tsp. Parmesan cheese
3 tsp. Beef Stock soup mix or 2 beef bullion cubes 2 Tsp. Butter
1/4 lb. Mozzarella Cheese  
  1. In Heavy saucepan cook onions in butter until transparent.
  2. Add water and soup mix and heat.
  3. Toast bread and cut slices in half.
  4. Slice and divide mozzarella cheese in bottoms of 4 oven-proof bowls.
  5. Pour soup mix into bowls and top each bowl with 1/2 slice of toast & 1 tsp. Parmesan cheese.
  6. Place under broiler in oven until cheese melts.
Serving Options:
  • A hearty entire with tossed salad and rolls.
  • A great appetizer for a light dinner.
